What is an essay?
Etymology essay means “report”. In order to “report” something, you first need to properly study the question: what other minds wrote about this problem. In a dispute, truth is born, and an essay is a field for such a “dispute”: we present different, sometimes opposite, points of view on a particular problem, briefly generalize them and come to some results. They are not final (for we are not the ultimate truth), but they are essential precisely as a generalization.
