Nara Lokesh Wiki: Nara Lokesh is an Indian Politician born on 23rd January 1983. He is the son of former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu who is also the Telugu Desam party chief and Nara Bhuvaneshwari. He is the grandson of N.T. Rama Rao.
Nara Lokesh joined politics as a campaign manager in 2009 and from there on he slowly started climbing up the ranks within the party as an MLC and Cabinet Minister for IT, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development.

Nara Lokesh Education Qualification
Nara Lokesh is an MBA Graduate from Stanford University Graduate of Business, and he is also the Bachelor of Science with specialization in Management information systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
Lokesh became the Cabinet Minister for IT in 2017. He joined the TDP in May 2013 and worked on the strategies of election. In 2014, He stood in the elections as Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) for Mangalagiri constituency in the 2019 but he lost to Alla Ramakrishna Reddy of the YSR congress party(YSRCP)

Though Lokesh has never won a direct election, He held many key positions within the party and state of Andhra Pradesh.
In 2014, He became party’s general secretary and also a member of the Politburo which is known as the highest decision-making body of the party. From there on, Lokesh managed the party from within and interacted the party workers and citizens to help and set up the Party Policies and strategy..
Lokesh is credited with successfully managing the TDP party’s membership drive that added five million members. In 2017, Chandrababu Naidu inducted Lokesh as an MLC and a month later he was appointed as the Cabinet Minister. In 2013, Lokesh claimed that Rahul Gandhi and his party has took the benefit from TDP proposal which was submitted to the central government.
Lokesh got married to Brahmani his first cousin on maternal side and daughter of Indian film actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna. The couple has a son Nara Devansh.
Lokesh handles the disaster response program of the Trust that operates in times of natural calamities. In this trust each active member of the party will get a personal insurance cover of 2Lakh Rupees for fatal accident, and 2Lakh Rupees for permanent disability and 1Lakh for the partially disabled, and finally 50K rupees for accidental injuries.
By this strategy, Lokesh has led the party online membership to 53+ Lakh members.
Awards & Honours
He has received many awards like Skoch person of the year award in 2018 for his innovative use of technology while resolving issues related to drinking water supply in governance and other activities under his Panchayati Raj.
In May 2018, Lokesh has won the award from Business World Magazine as Digital Leader of the year at the Business world Digital India Summit which was held in New Delhi. In the same year, the Kalam centre of Livable Planet earth and sustainable development have recognized Lokesh’s efforts in the successful integration of technology with rural governance and awarded him with the innovation award to Andhara Pradesh in the panchayat and rural development category.
In September 2018, Lokesh was invited to represent India at the World Economic Forum Entrepreneurship Summit and Annual Meeting of World Champions in Tianjin, China. Next month, Lokesh became the only Indian Politician to be nominated to the WEF’s Network of Global Future Councils, an Interdisciplinary knowledge group that deliberates on agile governance in terms of emerging technologies and business models.
