Monal Gajjar was born on 13th May 1991 in Ahmedabad. She completed her schooling in Shree saraswati Mandir High school which is in Gujarat and she completed her graduation in commerce from Gujarat University.
She is quite a tall girl and her eyes are brown. Monal’s father is deceased, She lives with her mother in Gujarat. Her mother’s name is Gita Gajjar. Monal also has an younger sister, Her name is Hemali Gajjar.

Monal after completing her graduation, She joined in ING Vysya Bank in Ahmedabad itself. While she was in her work, Her yoga teacher advised her to participate in Mirchi Queen Bee which is a beauty contest organized by Radio Mirchi in 2011. However she participated in the contest and won the contest. From that day on, there was no looking back. She won Miss Gujarati title and went to participate in Miss India as well. She was selected among the finalists as well.
After that she debuted as an actor in the Telugu Film named Sudigadu along side Alari Naresh. She was nominated for the SIIMA Award as Best Female Debutant. She went on act in various films which includes Vennela 1 ½ which released in 2012, Oka college story released in 2013, Brother of Bommali released in 2014, and Devdasi released in 2017.

Career
Apart from telugu movies, Monal also appeared in Hindi films like Mai released in 2012 and Kaagaz in 2019. Monal has also acted in many Malayalam, Tamil, and Marathi films as well. Here are the movies Dracula in 2012, Sigaram Thodu in 2014, Vanavarayan Vallavarayan in 2014. Some of her Gujarati films include I Wish in 2016, Thai Jashe in 2016, Aav Taru Kari Makhu in 2017, Family circus in 2018 and 2020.
Now she has participated in the popular TV reality show Bigg Boss season 4, hosted by Akkineni Nagarjuna. She was the first contestant to enter into the house and now there are many chances that she might end up in the top 5 as well.
The interesting fact about Monal is, She has won a National Award for the Gujarati film Reva in 2018. In that movie she played the role of Supriya.
